Edison council seat open due to recent resignation

Edison Township Councilman Peter J. Barnes III resigned his position on the council March 23. Anyone interested in screening to fill the position for the remainder of Barnes' term should contact Dr. Thomas H. Paterniti, the Edison Democratic chairman, at (732) 549-3675 or (732) 548-9254. Candidates must be registered Democrats who reside in Edison. Deadline for name submission is March 31, with the screening scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on April 4 at the Pines Manor, 2085 Route 27, Edison.
