St. Luke's announces Vacation Bible School Saint Luke's Episcopal Church, 17 Oak Ave., Metuchen, announces its 2007 Vacation Bible School - Avalanche Ranch: A Wild Ride Through God's Word. Children in grades K-5 as of Fall 2007 are invited to join Buc the Bronco, Ranger the Buffalo and other characters. Children will be engaged daily with Bible stories and discussion, music, crafts, snack and movement activities, and they receive a VBS T-shirt. The week will be wrapped up with a kids' pizza party and a presentation for families July 30-Aug. 3, 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $25 per child/ $60 max per family.
