Middlesex County Fair set for Aug. 6-12 in East Brunswick The 2007 Middlesex County Fair will take place Aug. 6-12 at the fairgrounds at 655 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick. Amateur crafters, artists, photographers, bakers, canners, and those who sew are invited to take part in "home arts" competitions at the event. There are also categories for vegetables, fruit and flowers. Participants may preregister or simply bring items to the fairgrounds Aug. 5 between 1 and 5 p.m. Divisions include adult, children (by age), and special-needs participants. First-, second- and third-place prizes as well as honorable mention ribbons may be awarded in each class. The articles will remain on display in the home arts building for the entire fair. The fair will feature rides, 4-H exhibits, food, and vendors.
