Edison AARP lists upcoming events

The next meeting of the Edison AARP, Chapter 3446, will be held Sept. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Edison Job Corps, located at 500 Plainfield Ave., Edison.

The dues that run from September 2007 to September 2008 are due. New applications are being accepted at the meeting. Members must belong to the national AARP and be a resident of New Jersey.

Members are asked to bring at least one canned or packaged food item, along with toiletries, to help restock the Middlesex County food bank.

The knitting and crocheting club will meet on Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. at the Stelton Community Center.
