Tickets for holiday show to be available Nov. 5

The Edison Recreation Department is sponsoring the 27th annual Holiday Show for Edison children ages 2 years old through sixth grade, to be held 6-7 p.m. Nov. 29 at the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Ave., Edison. Yvonne's School of Dance, Stage Starz Dance Company and the Edison High School Band and Chorus will be performing at the show. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

This year's event will once again coincide with the township's annual tree lighting, which will take place at 7 p.m. outside the community center immediately following the holiday show.

Due to limited seating, tickets for the program will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Nov. 5 at the Stelton Community Center and the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Ave., Edison, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays, Nov. 10 and 17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The registration fee is one unwrapped new toy valued at no less than $5.
