'Holiday Cut-a-thon' slated for Nov. 19

Stylists Danielle Bongard, Ana Rodrigues, Katieann Steiner and Tom Egan of All About U Salon & Spa, 285 Central Ave., will help area children by holding the salon's second annual Holiday Cut-A-Thon supporting Metuchen Pulls Together.

Last year, Metuchen Pulls Together conducted its first holiday drive in conjunction with Metuchen schools to help senior Jonathan Verges, who has cerebral palsy. Their efforts also provided gifts to area children.

Councilman Thomas Vahalla, members of Metuchen Pulls Together, Fire Chief Robert Donnan and members of the Metuchen Fire Department will be on hand to get their hair cut for the cause. All haircuts will be $15.

Massage therapist Warren Bryson will provide massage therapy and will offer free sample massage therapy techniques. Manicurist Dwayne Hanley will provide free minimanicures. Refreshments and giveaways will be provided during the event, which will be held 5-9 p.m. Nov. 19 at All About U. Proceeds will go to the Metuchen Pulls Together Holiday Drive.

For more information, contact the salon's owners, Danielle or Ana, at (732) 516-0155.
