Off-road 'Hash' run in Edison Jan. 5

The Hash House Harriers will host a 4- to 6-mile group run at 10 a.m. Jan. 5, beginning at Kenneth Vercammen Law Office, 2053 Woodbridge Ave., Edison. Hashing is not a race but a noncompetitive group run that follows an off-road course laid out with baking flour. The course is complex and runs through woods, grass, swamp and marsh. To participate in the run, bring a canned food donation for the St. James Food Bank.
