Metuchen Library to host kids' programs in May

The Metuchen Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., will hold the following children's programs inMay for Metuchen residents.

Preschool patrol, for 3-year-olds, Mondays, May 5-19, at 10:30 a.m.; Book Babies, for toddlers 18-24 months, May 6 and 20 at 10:30 a.m.; Ready Readers, 4-6-year-olds, May 7 and 21, 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.; Mostly Mother Goose, up to age 6 with a caregiver, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. No registration is required; sign-in will be held 15 minutes prior to class.

OnMay 3, the librarywill have a drop-in Mother's Day craft from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

The Book to Movie Game Show for all ages will be held at 7 p.m.May 12. OnMay 14 at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Movie Day for all ages (title to be announced) will be held. Children under age 5must sit with an adult. Spring library hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays 1-5 p.m., until the end of May.
