Man robbed in hospital parking lot

EDISON- Aman in the parking lot of JFK Medical Center was robbed on April 16 in the early morning.

According to police, the 29-year-old victim, an Avenel resident, had been visiting a family member at the hospital and was walking back to his car in parking lot B. According to descriptions, a 6- foot-tall black man wearing a white sweater, blue jeans and a white mask that showed only his eyes, approached the victim with his right hand concealed under his sweater. The victim said he appeared to have gun.

The suspect ordered the victim to hand over his cell phone and wallet, which he did. The wallet had about $100 in it. After handing over the items, the suspect ordered the victim to lie down on the ground and count to 100. The suspect then took off running. The victim was unhurt.
