Edison has zero tolerance in enforcing seat belt law

Law enforcement officers from the Edison Police Department will be cracking down on unbuckled motorists and their passengers as part of a national Click It or Ticket campaign.

The Edison Police Department has joined with various local law enforcement agencies throughout the country in conducting a zero-tolerance seat-beltenforcement campaign. The campaign began May 19 and will continue through June 1. During this initiative, the Edison police will issue summonses to motorists who are not buckled up.
