      I was glad to see so many people respond over Mr. [Taj] Ahmad's comments ("Take the 'sex' out of 'Middlesex County,' " letter, Edison Metuchen Sentinel, April 30). I used to work with Mr. [Joel] Henkin, and I thought his comments just nailed it.

      Councilwoman [Anne- Marie] Griffin-Ussak has no regard for constitutional rights and freedom of speech. At the May 14 Edison council meeting, her vote to oppose that the meeting go beyond 11 p.m. was a violation of freedom of speech for the following reason.
