Referendum has hidden costs
      The Edison School District is gearing up for a Dec. 9, $57 million referendum. This will be a cost of over $3 million of interest for the first year plus the cost for its retirement or prerefunding, depending which avenue is taken. The taxpayer should not be asked to pay for this.
