Jared Shukis cannot pitch in '09 due to torn ACL

      In addition to its opening-day loss to South Brunswick High School, the Edison High School baseball team suffered a major blow when All-State pitcher and pro prospect Jared Shukis tore his ACL. The injury will prevent Shukis from pitching this season.

      Rutgers Stadium will host the men's lacrosse team and the annual Scarlet-White spring football game Saturday, April 18. The men's lacrosse team welcomes Penn State to Rutgers Stadium at 11:30 a.m. and the Scarlet-White spring game will begin at 2 p.m.
